The Postal Diemarsburg is an Outbound hilltop castle on 236  m approximately 50 m northeast of the local Church in Adelberg , a modern district of Gemünden am Main in the district of Main-Spessart in Bavaria .

The castle was built in 1220 after the knight Diemar von Wiesenfeld, a vassal of the Counts of Rieneck , had settled. By marriage, the castle and its protective Jews came into the possession of Adolphsbühl Castle in 1625 and was vacant from then on. In 1767 the castle was demolished and a hill was created in the castle garden with the rubble.

The castle site of the former castle complex was leveled in 1972.
