The Castle Isenburg is an Outbound high medieval hilltop castle on 509  m above sea level. NN west of the "Isenburger Höfe" in the Isenburg district (Burgweg) town of Horb am Neckar in the Freudenstadt district ( Baden-Württemberg ).

Isenburg Castle was built near Burgweiler, called "Hisenburg" in 1150 and "Isenburk" in 1191, which suggests that it was built in the 12th century and can be associated with a noble family in the wake of the Counts of Hohenberg .

In the former castle there was a section of castle with moat and square dungeon and was in ruins since the 1525th At today's castle site there is a rest area with a hut.
