The ruin Eutingen , also called ruin Staufenberg or ruin Eutingertal or ruin Eutinger Tal , is the ruin of a spur castle at 450  m above sea level. NHN above the Eutinger Talbach, which flows in the Eutinger Valley, southwest of Eutingen, municipality of Eutingen im Gäu in the Freudenstadt district ( Baden-Württemberg ).

The castle, built in the second half of the 13th century, was the seat of the Lords of Eutingen and came to the Böcklin family around 1300, of whom Conrad Böckling called himself “uf Utinger Thal” in 1295. The castle was laid down around 1350 by the Counts of Hohenberg in a measure against unauthorized servants. It was only allowed to be rebuilt under strict conditions.
