Unterdettingen ruins

The ruins of Unterdettingen are the ruins of a low castle at the confluence of the Dießenbach in the Neckar , located north of the Unterdettingen residential area of Dettingen , a district of Horb am Neckar in the Freudenstadt district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was built by the Lords of Dettingen, named from the 12th century onwards, some of whom were nicknamed Lamp and who were ministerials for the Counts of Hohenberg and the Count Palatine of Tübingen . Remnants of the walls of the former castle are still preserved in a farm.
