Burkhard Jüttner

Burkhard Jüttner (* 1952 in Delmenhorst ) is a German photographer and photo journalist . He works as a freelance photographer.

Burkhard Jüttner was referred to in professional circles as the photographic descendant of August Sander , but did not become known in Germany until the late 1970s, after he had already achieved success abroad.

• 1971 Start of studies in photography at the " Kölner Werkschulen "
• 1974 Assistant to Leo Fritz Gruber (head of the cultural section of photokina )
• 1976 exam with Arno Jansen
• 1978 Appointment as a master class student at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences , Art and Design
• 1978 teaching position for photography at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne, art and design (until 1981)
• 1978 Appointment to the German Society for Photography (DGPh)
• 1978 began working as a photo journalist
• 1981 member of the international examination board, ESAG art school , Paris
• 1983 Foundation of a photo production company
• 1995 Foundation of the digital picture agency vintage - picture bank of the authors
• 1999 Appointment to the Association of Freelance Photo Designers (BFF)
