Cédric Liabeuf (born August 5, 1979 in Châteaurenard ) is a French football player .
Career
In his youth, Liabeuf first played at a club from Graveson until he was accepted into a regional youth team from Avignon in 1988. In 1994 he moved to the youth of the professional club AJ Auxerre and was used irregularly from 1997 for the reserve team, with which he was French amateur champion in 1999. However, because he did not make the leap to the professional team at Auxerre, he moved to fourth division SO Romorantin in 2000 , where he was a regular for a year before signing with third division Stade Reims in 2001 . With Reims he was promoted to the second division in 2002 and subsequently made his professional debut on August 2, 2002 at 1: 3 in the second division match against FC Lorient . Liabeuf was also part of the regular eleven in the second-highest French division and made the leap into the first division in 2003 with his move to Le Mans UC .
Unlike before in Reims, the coach did not rely on him that much and the player only played twelve top division games until he was relegated with the team in 2004. After relegation, he was still unable to prevail, so he turned his back on Le Mans in 2005 and moved to second division competitor Stade Brest , where he was again one of the top performers. With his move to EA Guingamp in 2007, for which a transfer fee of 150,000 euros was paid, he remained in the second division, but lost this position. Nevertheless, he was able to celebrate a significant success with the team when he won the Coupe de France in 2009 , even if he was not used in the final. In the same year he signed with the second division club OC Vannes , which was his third Breton station in a row after Brest and Guingamp . Although he was one of the regulars, his contract was not renewed at the end of the 2009/10 season. Liabeuf was without a club for six months before he found a new employer in third division club SR Colmar in January 2011 . At Colmar he held a permanent position until his contract was terminated in October 2013. In the following month, it was with the ES Uzès Pont du Gard , also a third-class club, that included him in its squad. In the Uzès jersey, however, he was not an undisputed regular player and also had to accept relegation to fourth division in 2014.
Following relegation with Uzès, the then 34-year-old ended his career at national level after twelve first (no goal), 179 second (23 goals) and 137 third division games (14 goals) and moved to sixth division FC Bagnols-Pont .
