San Piero a Sieve
San Piero a Sieve is a district of the municipality Scarperia e San Piero with about 2950 inhabitants (as of 2011) in the metropolitan city of Florence in the Tuscany region in Italy .

San Piero a Sieve is located about 26 km north of Florence on the Sieve in the Mugello .
Other districts include Cafaggiolo, Campomigliaio, Casa Loli, Casenuove, Convento bosco ai frati, Gabbiano, La Luna, Novoli, Ponte del Carlone, San Giusto a Fortuna, San Piero a Sieve, Santo Stefano, Scaffaia and Tagliaferro.
The neighboring towns are Barberino di Mugello , Borgo San Lorenzo , Calenzano , Scarperia and Vaglia .
On January 1, 2014, the previously independent municipality of San Piero a Sieve merged with the neighboring municipality of Scarperia to form the new municipality of Scarperia e San Piero.
