Caio Rangel da Silva (born January 16, 1996 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian soccer player . The striker is under contract with Zirə FK .
Career
societies
Rangel began his career at Olaria AC and joined the youth team at CR Flamengo in 2007 . In July 2014 he was signed by the Italian first division club Cagliari Calcio , with whom he signed a contract valid until June 30, 2018. On October 19, 2014, he made his professional debut in a 2-2 home game against Sampdoria Genoa when he came on for Albin Ekdal in the 67th minute . After he could not keep the class with the club in the 2014/15 season , he was awarded to FC Arouca in the Portuguese Primeira Liga . After only one league assignment, he returned to Cagliari in January 2016. In February 2016, Rangel was awarded to Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte in the Brazilian Série A until the end of the year , but was not used. At the end of January 2017, he was loaned to the Brazilian second division club Criciúma EC .
On June 30, 2017, Calcio announced that Caio Rangel had been sold to GD Estoril Praia in Portugal . At the beginning of 2018 he returned to Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte and was awarded to AA Ponte Preta . After less than a month, the loan deal was ended and Rangel joined EC Juventude by the end of November 2018 . From the end of January to June 2019, Rangel was awarded to the Paraná Clube . He then moved to the second division club Esporte Clube São Bento before joining the Associação Ferroviária de Esportes in January 2020 . In August 0220 Rangel left the club. He went to Azerbaijan , where he signed a contract with Zirə FK . The contract was given a term of one year with the option to extend it for a further year.
National team
Rangel took part with the Brazilian U17 national team in April 2013 at the U17 South American Championship in Argentina . In the final round, he finished third with the team, which qualified them for the U17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates . For this Rangel was reappointed to the Brazilian squad in October 2013 . He was used in all five of his team's games and scored one goal each in the group wins against Slovakia (6-1) and Honduras (3-0). In the quarter-finals, the Brazilians failed on penalties against Mexico .
