Calvin Miller (born January 9, 1998 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football player who was last under contract with Celtic Glasgow .

Career

Calvin Miller, who is from the Glasgow district of Castlemilk , started his career at the age of 12 in the Youth Academy of Celtic Glasgow . Miller played for the Celtic U-19 youth team in the UEFA Youth League . In January 2014 he played for the first time in the professional team during the Antalya Cup against Galatasaray Istanbul . In May 2016 he signed his first professional contract. In the 2016/17 season , Miller made his professional debut under Brendan Rodgers when he started the game against Partick Thistle . He played as a trained striker until the 63rd minute of the game on the position of the left full-back before Emilio Izaguirre was substituted on.

National team

Calvin Miller has played in international matches for the junior teams of Scotland since 2012 . In May 2012 he was used once in the U-15 against Russia . In the same year he made his U-16 debut against Latvia . For the U-16s he scored twice in 12 games, including the winning goal against England in November 2013. From 2013 to 2015 Miller played in the U-17s .
