Cameron is the district capital and county seat of Milam County in the US state of Texas in the United States .

The city is located in east Texas, near the county center, about 200 km northwest of Houston , 100 km northeast of Austin at the junction of US Highways 77 and 190 , and has a total area of ​​11.0 km 2 with no significant water surface.
