The Campilltal (rarely Kampilltal , Ladin Val de Lungiarü , Italian Val di Lungiaru ) is an orographic left side valley of Val Badia in South Tyrol . It branches off in the central Gadertal and leads in a south-westerly direction into the Dolomites , where it is protected at higher altitudes in the Puez-Geisler Nature Park . While only a wooded ridge delimits the valley from the Gadertal on its east side, over 2900  m high peaks of the Geisler group and the Puez group rise above the valley head , including the Puez peaks (2918 and 2913  m ) and the Piz Duleda ( 2909  m ). On its west side, the Campilltal is framed by the Peitlerkofel group with the eponymous Peitlerkofel ( 2875  m ). It is drained by the Campiller Bach ( Rü de Lungiarü ), which flows into the Gader . The valley offers space for the Campill ( Lungiarü ) fraction , which is part of the municipality of St. Martin in Thurn .
