Series A2 1995/96 ↓

The Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio 1995/96 was the eleventh season of the San Marinese football league . The four best teams after a round consisting of a round trip and the champions of the A2 series, the second San-Marinese league, played for the title in a master playoff.

The AC Libertas won with a final victory over the SS Cosmos the first title in club history after being in first place in the second division. This makes AC Libertas the first and only club in European football history that has ever been able to become national champions as a second division team.

Due to a change in the league format for the 1996/97 season , no team had to relegate at the bottom of the table. For the new season there was no longer a second league, so this season was also the last one in which there was more than one level in the San Marinese league system.
