Campus Vocational Training e. V. is a registered non-profit association based in Berlin . It acts as a provider of private, state-recognized educational institutions . The association is a member of the Bildungsfairbund , to which the training companies Forum Berufsbildung , GPB mbH and Concept GmbH belong.

History / development

The association provides services in the field of education . The association is the sponsor of the only private vocational high school in the State of Berlin founded by Eberhard Meumann . At the Berlin Friedrichstrasse location, under the umbrella of Campus Berufsbildung e. V. also operated the state-recognized vocational schools for commercial and technical assistants founded by Meumann . Campus Berufsbildung e. Operates other private, state-recognized vocational schools. V. at the Geneststrasse location. The vocational schools for geriatric care and social assistance are located there . There is also the opportunity at this location to train as an educator at the technical college for social pedagogy . Campus Vocational Training e. V. is thus the sponsor of six private schools at different levels.

high school

The private vocational high school leads in the three-year form to the general higher education entrance qualification . The upper school level comprises the one-year introductory phase (11th grade) and the two-year qualification phase (12th and 13th grade). With the Abitur, graduates of the vocational high school are qualified and entitled to study all courses at universities and colleges.

Goals of the introductory phase

In the introductory phase, the students deepen and expand the skills acquired in lower secondary level and prepare for work in the qualification phase. By the end of the introductory phase at the latest, they will have the skills required to enter the qualification phase with the aim of meeting the requirements of a university degree or vocational training . They are increasingly acting independently and taking responsibility in social design processes. They increasingly assess their own and social perspectives appropriately. The learners take responsibility for themselves and their fellow human beings, for the equality of people, regardless of gender, descent, language, origin, disability, religious and political beliefs, sexual identity and economic and social position.

Goals of the qualification phase

In the qualification phase, the students expand and deepen the skills they have acquired up to then with the aim of preparing for the requirements of a university degree or vocational training. The pupils penetrate central relationships between fundamental areas of knowledge, recognize the function and importance of diverse experiences and learn to link existing and newly acquired skills and abilities with one another.

Modularized education

The teaching of the qualifications takes place in the schools in an educationally and scientifically structured, flexible modular system. The modules are arranged in such a way that the structure of the material as well as didactic and learning psychological aspects come into play in a way that enables a deep understanding of the facts and the application in practical situations.

Training

One-year vocational school

In this vocational school, students with an extended secondary school qualification are prepared professionally in the professional field of business and administration. They have the opportunity to acquire the secondary school leaving certificate if they pass the central exams and the course of study.

Vocational school for commercial assistants

In the two-year commercial assistant training course, graduates receive state professional qualifications in the fields of business administration with a focus on organization and personnel, foreign languages ​​and information processing. Particularly high-performing students have the opportunity to acquire the advanced technical college entrance qualification as part of the two-year full-time vocational training with integrated company internship as part of additional lessons .

Foreign language specialization

The training takes place in English, Spanish and French. The graduates are able to communicate in the foreign languages ​​in writing and orally in everyday professional situations. At the clerk level , they work independently in commercial administrative areas and work independently. As assistants, they are involved in the preparation of management decisions and, on behalf of the management, control the implementation of decisions made. In the target language English, the graduates achieve almost native level and are able to perform interpreting and translating tasks professionally.

Business administration specialization

The focus of the training is on the subjects of operational organization and human resource management as well as social security law. In addition, the trainees acquire knowledge of the German legal system , especially labor law and contract law . Accounting and marketing are further focuses of the training. Graduates are qualified to participate in all business processes, in planning and decision-making, in the implementation and control of operational workflows. The graduates are predestined as management assistants.

Information processing specialization

In this training business-related skills and abilities to install and use devices and systems of information and telecommunications technology are taught. Vocational school for elderly care

Vocational school for social assistance

Technical school for social pedagogy

The training is intended to enable independent upbringing, education and care throughout Europe. The focus is on the acquisition of intercultural skills. An internship abroad supported by the European Union is possible in the last year of the training. Educators work in various educational institutions, such as B. in kindergartens, after-school care centers, homes, schools, assisted living facilities or advice centers, integrated kindergartens or after-school care centers, associations or leisure facilities. Use in therapeutic facilities for children and adolescents is also possible. Vocational school for office management

In this vocational school, business clerks for office communication and office clerks are trained in a three-year training course with a final IHK examination.
