biography

Crawford took part in FIS races from December 2009, at the age of 15 . She achieved her first victory at this level in January 2011, two months later she participated in the Nor-Am Cup for the first time . She competed in races in all disciplines, but it became apparent that she achieved particularly good results in slalom and giant slalom. In 2013 she was gradually able to establish herself in the top ranks of the Nor-Am Cup. She achieved her first podium finish in this North American continental championship in February 2014, followed by her first victory in the giant slalom in Nakiska on March 15 of the same year .

Crawford made her World Cup debut on October 25, 2014 at the giant slalom in Sölden , where she was eliminated in the second run. She won World Cup points for the first time on December 29, 2014 with 25th place in the Kühtai slalom . She qualified for the 2015 World Championships in Vail / Beaver Creek , where she surprisingly won silver in the team competition. Two weeks later she became the Canadian Super G champion. With almost twice as many points as the runner-up Paula Moltzan , Crawford won the overall ranking of the Nor-Am Cup 2014/15 , as well as the slalom, giant slalom and combined rankings .

In the 2015/16 World Cup season, 9th place in the combination of Soldeu on February 28, 2016 was her best World Cup result.
