Cangkya Lobsang Pelden Tenpe Drönme ( Tib . : lcang skya blo bzang dpal ldan bstan pa'i sgron me ; * 1890 in Datong , Qinghai Province ; † March 4, 1957 in Taipei , Republic of China (Taiwan) ) was an important politicized cleric of the Gelug School of Tibetan Buddhism , he was the 7th Cangkya Qutuqtu , the highest person of Tibetan Buddhism in Inner Mongolia , and as a holder of this title one of the four highest lamas of Tibetan Buddhism at all. He supported the Kuomintang and later followed them to Taiwan .

At the age of nine he was ordered to the capital in Beijing by the Emperor Guangxu . When he was ten, the Qing government made him a Zhasakeda Lama . He managed in Duolun monasteries Huizong , Shanyin , the capital monasteries Songzhu , Fayuan , Zhizhu and Fahai , beyond the monasteries Youning in Qinghai , in Wutai Shan Zhenhai , Shanle and Guang'an . After the founding of the new republic (1912) he supported the Kuomingdang, from which he also received titles and received financial expenses. He has held various positions in Taiwan.
