Cara-Beth Burnside
Cara-Beth Burnside , also called "CB", (born July 23, 1971 in Orange , California ) is a pioneer in the field of female professional skateboarders and snowboarders. She is one of the best female athletes in these sports. She was the first female president of the Action Sports Alliance .
Skateboarding
As a skateboarder, Burnside has won more than 16 titles in competitions such as B. the X Games or the Slam City Jam . In 2004 she received the Vert Skater of the Year title from the World Cup Skating Committee.
Snowboarding
As a snowboarder, she was part of the first US snowboard team at the 1998 Olympic Games in Nagano , Japan , and came in fourth.
She is the only woman to ever win gold medals in both disciplines.
