Carl Otto Müller , also Karl Otto Müller (born May 12, 1819 in Wittenberg , † December 13, 1898 in Leipzig ) was a German lawyer and politician.

Life

Müller studied at the St. Thomas School in Leipzig . He studied law in Leipzig, Halle and Berlin. Then he worked at the regional court in Halle . From 1843 he was a private lecturer in Halle, from 1851 professor in Greifswald and from 1852 full professor in Leipzig. From 1858 he also worked at the Leipzig Court of Appeal . From 1866 to 1868 was a member of the city of Leipzig in the II. Chamber of the Saxon state parliament . He was a member of the Leipzig Freemason Lodge Minerva to the three palms .
