Carl Wilhelm Bierbrauer , also often Willy Bierbrauer , (born August 8, 1881 in Bierstadt near Wiesbaden; † October 26, 1962 there ) was a German sculptor and technical school teacher.

Life

Bierbrauer studied sculpture with Friedrich Christoph Hausmann at the Städelschen Kunstinstitut in Frankfurt am Main .

From 1913 to 1933 he taught as a lecturer at the Städtische Handwerker- und Kunstgewerbeschule Wiesbaden (predecessor of the Werkkunstschule Wiesbaden ) and is one of the well-known Wiesbaden artists whose work still shapes the cityscape today.

He found his final resting place in the north cemetery in Wiesbaden .
