Carlos Saldanha
Carlos Saldanha (born July 20, 1968 in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil ) is a Brazilian director who is best known for his work on Ice Age , Robots and Ice Age 2 - Jetzt Taut’s .
Life
Saldanha grew up in Brazil. He describes his childhood as not very beautiful. As a child he was a big fan of American comic -Figur Garfield . He emigrated to the United States because he saw the country as "the land of opportunity" and - like many - dreamed of an " American dream ". He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 1993 .
For his work on the animated film Ferdinand - Goes STIERisch! he and Lori Forte received a nomination for the best animated feature film at the 2018 Academy Awards .
