action

Scrat is a rat squirrel and lives in the Ice Age . When he is looking for a suitable place to bury his glans, he finds a time machine in the ice that has gotten into the past by a scientist from the future whose skeleton is buried in the ice.

When Scrat touches the time machine, it sends his nut to another time. He panics and touches the time machine one more time, which takes him to the other time too. Every time a danger lurks on him in a time or if he does not like the time, he gives the time machine a kick and he ends up in another strange time.

Eventually, Scrat finds himself under a tree full of acorns. He accidentally touches the time machine. But because he wants to stay in the time with the many acorns, he destroys the time machine. Scrat realizes that the oak is not real, but that it is just modeled after an oak and that he is in a highly developed future in which there is no tree to be seen. When he at least wants to take the acorn he has brought with him, the time machine uses its last strength and sends the acorn to another time, while Scrat remains trapped in the highly developed future.
