Carmelo Dominador Flores Morelos (born December 11, 1930 in Sorsogon City , † September 17, 2016 ) was a Filipino clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Zamboanga .

Life

Carmelo Dominador Flores Morelos was ordained a priest on April 3, 1954 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Butuan on April 4, 1967 . The Archbishop of Caceres , Teopisto Valderrama Alberto , ordained him episcopal on July 5th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Charles Van den Ouwelant MSC , Bishop of Surigao , and Arnulfo S. Arcilla , Bishop of Sorsogon .

On December 8, 1994, Pope John Paul II appointed him Archbishop of Zamboanga. Pope Benedict XVI On November 13, 2006, he accepted his resignation due to reasons of age.
