Romulo Geolina Valles (born July 10, 1951 in Maribojoc ) is a Filipino clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Davao .

Life

Romulo Geolina Valles was ordained a priest on April 6, 1976 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Kidapawan on June 24, 1997 . The Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines , Archbishop Gian Vincenzo Moreni , donated him episcopal ordination on August 6 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Philip Francis Smith OMI , Archbishop of Cotabato , and Wilfredo Manlapaz , Bishop of Tagum .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on November 13, 2006 Archbishop of Zamboanga and on February 11, 2012 Archbishop of Davao .

On October 28, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him a member of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Order of the Sacraments .
