Carola Lepping

Carola Lepping (born May 14, 1921 in Elberfeld ; † May 5, 2009 in Hückeswagen ) was a German writer .

Life

After graduating from high school, Carola Lepping completed her studies at the University for Teacher Training in Dortmund . She then worked as a primary and secondary school teacher in Hückeswagen, where she also ran the city ​​library on a voluntary basis .

Carola Lepping is a writer of novels , short stories and essays . In 1955 she received the Swiss Charles Veillon Prize for her first novel Bela travels am Abend . After that she published mainly smaller papers in regional and local periodicals . A second, more extensive novel, written in the 1950s, was not published until 2006. From 1961, Carola Lepping was a member of the Ruhr-Mark authors' circle .
