Carola Winter (born July 25, 1987 in Haan ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Winter was initially active as a striker for Bundesliga club SG Essen-Schönebeck from 2004 to 2007 and played 31 point games, on September 12, 2004 (2nd match day) in a 3-0 home win against TSV Crailsheim with a substitute for Charline Hartmann made his debut from the 84th minute. She scored her first goal in the top division on December 19, 2004 (12th matchday) in the 2: 6 defeat in the home game against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam with the following goal to 2: 3 in the 70th minute.
Her last of only four season games she played on March 25, 2007 (14th matchday) in a goalless draw in the away game against Hamburger SV , as she was drawn to Toronto due to studies . In the winter season 2006/07 she played for the soccer team of the University of Toronto , the Toronto Rangers and for the Toronto Rangers Lady Blues in the indoor soccer league , the top division in Canadian indoor soccer for women.
From 2007 to 2010 she played as a defender in 46 matches for FC Twente Enschede in the Eredivisie , the top division in Dutch women's football . With her club she won the Dutch club cup in 2008 and scored a goal in the 3-1 win in the final against FC Utrecht .
Winter, based in Bocholt , initially withdrew from competitive sports after the birth of their first child in December 2010. In the summer of 2011 she joined the district club DJK Barlo , playing in the Lower Rhine regional league , for whom she played her last league game as a midfielder in the 3-3 draw in the home game against Grün-Weiß Lankern on May 26, 2019 (26th matchday) and crowned with a gate; then she ended her football career.
