Carolin Paesler (born December 16, 1990 in Halberstadt ) is a German athlete who specializes in hammer throwing. She also does lawn power sports .
Athletic career
Paesler began her sporting career at VfB Germania Halberstadt , her coaches were Helmut Wilke, Volkmar Nothnagel and Martina Hiersemann. Then the athlete switched to the Halle LA friends , where she was trained once a week for two years by her mother Ilka, who used to be an active roller skater , until 2008 . From then on she attended the gymnasium in Halle / Saale . From 2013 to 2017 Paesler started for LG Eintracht Frankfurt . In 2018 she will continue her career at TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen .
At the German Championships in Ulm in 2013 and 2014 , Paesler won the bronze medal, and at the German Championships in 2017 in Erfurt she was German champion with 69.51 m.
Her greatest international success so far was a final at the European Championships in 2014 , where she came tenth with a width of 61.89 m. She succeeded in qualifying for the European Championship with her personal best of 70.76 m at the “Sole Cup” throwing meeting on June 27, 2014 in Schönebeck (Elbe) .
