The county Carona made up on April 13, 2013 together with the circles Agno , Breno , Capriasca , Ceresio , Lugano West , Lugano East , Magliasina , Sessa , Sonvico , tavern and Vezia the District Lugano of the Swiss canton of Ticino . The seat of the district office was in Paradiso . As a result of the merger of the municipality of Carona with Lugano , the Carona district was renamed the Paradiso district .
