Cascade Cycling Classic
The Cascade Cycling Classic is a stage cycle race in the USA . It has been held since 1980 and is the longest uninterrupted stage race for elite drivers in the country. Since 2002 the race has also been organized for women. Despite international participation, the competition is not part of a UCI calendar, but is held as part of the National Racing Calendar of the US Cycling Association.
The race will be held in Central Oregon around Bend and organized by the Mt. Bachelor Ski Education Foundation . It goes (varying) over five or six stages. The previous record winner in the men’s race is American Scott Moninger with four wins, and in the women’s race, his compatriot Kristin Armstrong won the race twice. (As of 2015)
