Casey Jon Deidrick (born April 25, 1987 in Santa Clara , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Casey Deidrick was born in Santa Clara , California in April 1987 to electrician Barry Jon Deidrick and nurse Denise Deck. Deidricks has four half-siblings: Amy, Jake, Micayla and Nikols. When he was three years old, his parents divorced. He then lived with his mother until she moved to Arizona when he was seven years old. He stayed with his father and lived in Hollister , California. He started skateboarding to distract himself from his mother who left him. After his junior year in high school, Deidrick moved to Highlands Ranch , Colorado with his mother .

He discovered his talent as a skateboarder, was sponsored and took part in several competitions. After a serious accident, he ended his career as a skateboarder and decided to focus on acting. He studied theater and psychology at Metropolitan State College in Denver for a year .

He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19 . Deidrick is the singer in the heavy metal rock band A Dreadful Fall . In 2009 he began a relationship with actress Molly Burnett, whom he met on the set of Time of Longing . The two separated some time later.

In high school, Deidrick appeared in school productions. He attended the AMTC convention in Orlando , Florida , where he met his agent. He then took acting lessons and worked as a waiter on the side.

In 2009 he managed to get a supporting role in the youth series 90210 , which was his acting debut. This was followed by guest roles in the television series Die Zauberer vom Waverly Place and Body of Proof .

In the United States, Deidricks gained notoriety for the lead role of Chad DiMera in the NBC - daily soap Zeit der Sehnsucht . He was in the soap from June 19, 2009 to October 30, 2013. In addition to the soap, he also played in the series Revolution and Glee .

In September 2013, he got a lead role in the MTV thriller series Eye Candy . In the television series, Deidrick played the police officer Tommy on the side of Victoria Justice from January to March 2015 .
