Caspar Pauckstadt (born August 14, 1964 ) is a Swedish former football player . The defender and midfielder played in Sweden, Cyprus and Switzerland. Following his active career, he was particularly involved in youth football.

Career

Pauckstadt comes from the youth of Limhamns IF . He came under coach Tord Grip at Malmö FF in the 1984 season for his first appearances in the Allsvenskan . Under his successor Roy Hodgson , he established himself in the starting line-up over long distances in the following season. On the one hand, he contributed to the first place at the end of regular time, on the other hand, he advanced to the U-21 national team . In the championship finals he was in the semi-finals in both games and appeared as a preparer for the 2-1 away win at IFK Göteborg , but with a 2-0 defeat in the second leg he missed the final for the title with the club. As a result, he showed himself to be susceptible to injury and kept falling out over the long term.

In the 1986 season , the team repeated first rank and won the championship title after successes over IFK Norrköping and AIK , but Pauckstadt was only in four season games and was therefore not one of the excellent players. For the season 1987/88 the club loaned him to the Cypriot club Enosis Neon Paralimni . In the 1989 season he ran for Västra Frölunda IF in the Allsvenskan, before moving to the Swiss club Yverdon-Sport FC in 1990 . However, due to a knee injury, he ended his career early.

As a result, Pauckstadt devoted himself to a coaching career. First he worked in Swedish amateur football at VVK Malmö and Limhamns IF . In 1995 he moved to the United States, where he worked as a soccer coach at the University of New Hampshire and later as a youth coach for New York's Central Park Rangers in Manhattan. In 2003 he returned to Sweden and took over the coaching position at the fourth division club Höllvikens GIF . In 2006, he moved to second division side Landskrona BoIS on to there as assistant coach of Patrik Johansson to work. After the contracts expired at the end of 2007, the club separated from the coaching duo.

Pauckstadt went to Bali as a youth coach and built up a football academy there. In the summer of 2010, his wife was diagnosed with cancer , after which the family returned to Sweden. In November of that year he founded a new youth football club in Malmö under the name FC Bellevue in order to offer his son a football team.
