After a fire, the fort came into the possession of the Jakcs and Dragffy families. In 1556 Gyorgy Bathori de Bator and then László Gyulaffy de Rátót owned the castle. In 1616 it is owned by Zsigmond Prepostvari and in 1671 by Thokoly, Apafi si Wesselenyi. Today only the main wing of the former fort remains as a ruin.
