The Ceroux is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the north-western municipality of Soulages , generally drains north-east and flows into the Allier after around 33 kilometers in the municipality of Vieille-Brioude as a left tributary . On its way, the Ceroux crosses the Cantal and Haute-Loire departments .
