Cezary Wilk (born February 12, 1986 in Warsaw , Poland ) is a former Polish soccer player who last played for Real Saragossa in the Segunda División .
Career
In his youth Wilk played with Polonia Warsaw in his hometown . He made his first division debut in Poland at the age of nineteen on October 15, 2005 at Korona Kielce , where he was under contract for five years, played 74 competitive games and scored five goals. In 2007, however, he was loaned to ŁKS Łódź , where he played fourteen games. In 2010 he moved to the top club Wisła Krakow with a four-year contract , with which he became Polish champion in 2011 . However, in August 2011, despite his goal, the 3-1 defeat in qualifying for the Champions League group phase against APOEL Nicosia was disappointing , so that Wisła only participated in the UEFA Europa League .
In the summer of 2013 he moved to Deportivo La Coruña in Spain . In his 2 years in La Coruña, he did not get beyond the role of reserve player and moved to the Segunda División at Real Saragossa for the 2015/2016 season , where he signed a 2-year contract. After several serious injuries, Cezary Wilk had to end his active professional career in March 2018.
National team
After several missions in the teams of U-21 and U-23 Poland , national coach Franciszek Smuda appointed him on December 10, 2010 in the national team for the game against Bosnia-Herzegovina . He was substituted on for Ariel Borysiuk after an hour .
