Ariel Borysiuk (born July 29, 1991 in Biała Podlaska ) is a Polish football player .

Career

society

Borysiuk learned to play football at TOP 54 Biała Podlaska . In 2007 he was signed by Legia Warsaw . Initially, however, he was only used in the reserve team in the junior league Młoda Ekstraklasa and in the Polish League Cup. On February 23, 2008 he made his debut against Dyskobolia Grodzisk at the age of 16 years and 213 days in the Ekstraklasa and is the second youngest debutant at Legia Warsaw after Maciej Korzym . On April 19, 2008 he scored his first goal in the Ekstraklasa, making it the second youngest goalscorer in the league after Włodzimierz Lubański . With Legia Warsaw, he won the Polish Cup in 2008 and 2011 and was an integral part of the first team until the 2011/12 winter break.

On January 31, 2012, he moved to the German Bundesliga club 1. FC Kaiserslautern and signed a contract that ran until June 2016. On February 5, 2012, he started his first Bundesliga appearance at the home game against 1. FC Köln . The game ended for him after 40 minutes when he was sent off with a yellow-red card .

After he had played almost no role in the 2013/14 season under coach Kosta Runjaic , he moved to the summer on loan to Volga Nizhny Novgorod in the Russian Premier League . After the loan deal ended, he returned to Lechia Gdańsk in the Polish Ekstraklasa in 2014. In the second half of the 2015/16 season he played again for Legia Warsaw and won the championship and cup double . For the 2016/17 season he moved to the Queens Park Rangers .

National team

On November 17, 2010, Borysiuk made his debut in the Polish national team in a 3-1 win against the Ivory Coast team , where he came on shortly before the end for Robert Lewandowski .
