Daniel Łukasik (born April 28, 1991 in Giżycko ) is a Polish football player who currently works for Lechia Gdańsk .

Career

society

Daniel Łukasik learned to play football with Olimpia Miłki, where he played in various youth teams until 2005. In the same year he moved to the youth department of Warmia Olsztyn, where he played until 2007 and caught the eye of the Legia Warsaw scouts with his good performances . He was then signed by Legia Warsaw and played in the youth team in Młoda Ekstraklasa (ME) from 2009 .

On September 24, 2011 he made his debut in the away game against GKS Bełchatów in the Polish Ekstraklasa . In four years that he played for Legia, he made 37 league games. Only in the 2012/13 season was he partially a regular player. For the 2014/15 season he moved to league rivals Lechia Gdańsk , and in August 2016 finally to SV Sandhausen in the German 2nd Bundesliga. In June 2017, Lechia brought him back home after just nineteen games. In January 2020 he was loaned to MKE Ankaragücü in Turkey .

National team

On December 14, 2012 Łukasik made his debut for the Polish national team in a 4-1 win against Macedonia . In an unofficial international match on February 2, 2013 in a 4-1 win against Romania , he scored his first goal. In total, he has made four official international matches so far.
