Sedat Ağçay (born September 22, 1981 in Bulanık ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
Ağçay started his professional career at Zeytinburnuspor . After only two years he managed to move to the Süper Lig to Gençlerbirliği Ankara . There he was awarded to the then second team Gençlerbirliği OFTAŞ . Another season on loan at Yozgatspor followed . At the end of the 2002/03 season, his contract with Gençlerbirliği Ankara was dissolved. Ağçay joined Elazığspor on a free transfer . The midfielder played half a season in Elazığ and moved to Gaziantepspor in January 2004 . At Gaziantepspor he was one of the regular players, but he went to Konyaspor for the 2007/08 season . He played for Konyaspor for two years.
From 2008 to 2012 Ağçay played for the first division club Medical Park Antalyaspor . On the last day of the 2012 summer transfer period, he moved to the second division Adanaspor . In the summer he left Adanaspor and moved to league rivals Şanlıurfaspor . After half a year he left this club for Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor .
In the spring of 2016 he moved to the second division club Yeni Malatyaspor . With this club he finished the 2016/17 season as runner-up and rose with him to the Süper Lig. For the 2017/18 season he and his teammate Mehmet Sak were signed by the new second division club MKE Ankaragücü .
