Héctor Canteros , full name Héctor Miguel Canteros , (born March 15, 1989 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player .

Career

society

Canteros began his career in the junior division of CA Vélez Sársfield . Here he made the leap into the professional squad in 2009. He played his first game for the club on February 8, 2009 against CA Independiente . In the 83rd minute he came on for Nicolás Cabrera . At the international club level, Canteros made his first appearance at the 2011 Copa Libertadores . Here he played his first game on February 15, 2011 against Caracas FC . You got to the semi-finals of the competition, where you were eliminated due to the away goals rule against CA Peñarol .

The player scored his first league goal for the club on April 23, 2011. In the game against Quilmes AC , he hit after submission by Víctor Zapata in the 39th minute with the head to 1-0 (2: 3). At the end of the season, Villarreal rose to runner-up in the Primera División , but the player went back to his home club Sarsfield .

After speculations about a possible move from Canteros to Brazil in February 2014 , the move was confirmed on July 3, 2014 by Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . In Série A , he played his first game on July 27, 2014 against local rivals Botafogo FR . In the game he was substituted on in the 63rd minute.

In the winter transfer period 2018/19 he was signed by the Turkish first division club MKE Ankaragücü . He played his first competitive game for the club in the Süper Lig on February 16, 2019, the 22nd matchday of the 2018/19 season . In the meeting at Akhisarspor Canteros was in the starting line-up. His first goal for the club, he also scored in the league on matchday 33 of the season. On May 20, 2019 in the home game against Sivasspor , he scored 3-0 in the 50th minute (final score -3: 1).

National team

For the national soccer team of Argentina , Canteros held the appointment to the team for the Superclássico das Américas 2011 . He was used in both games against Brazil .
