Tiago Miguel Baia Pinto or Tiago Pinto for short (born February 1, 1988 in Porto ) is a Portuguese football player . He is the son of former 80-time Portuguese international João Pinto .

Career

society

Pinto began club football in 2000 at Benfica Lisbon and after a year switched to the offspring of local rivals Sporting Lisbon . Here he was accepted into the professional squad in 2007 and subsequently loaned out to the clubs CD Olivais e Moscavide and CD Trofense .

For the 2009/10 season he then moved to Sporting Braga and one season later to Rio Ave FC . At this club he then played until the summer of 2015. During these five years he was loaned to Deportivo La Coruña and Racing Santander for one or half a season .

For the 2015/16 season, Cavandain moved the Turkish Süper Lig to the newly promoted Osmanlıspor FK . After three years, Pinto moved to city competitor MKE Ankaragücü .

National team

Pinto started his national team career in 2006 with a commitment for the Portuguese U-19 national team . He subsequently played for the Portuguese U-20 and U-21 national teams .
