Chèvreville is a village and a former French commune of 216 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Avranches and the canton of Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët . The inhabitants are called Chèvrevillais .

With effect from January 1, 2016, the former municipalities of Chèvreville , Martigny , Milly and Parigny were merged to form a Commune nouvelle with the name Grandparigny and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Parigny.

Chèvreville is located about 55 kilometers south-southeast of Saint-Lô and about 24 kilometers east-southeast of Avranches on the Argonce , a tributary of the Sélune .
