Act

Based on the music of jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt , the quartet, founded in 2008, plays concertante swing with two guitars, violin and double bass. The musicians interpret swing and chanson classics from the 1920s and 1930s as well as their own compositions and perform with them on stages and in jazz clubs. The ensemble won the 2010 Summer Jazz Festival prize in the city of Pinneberg and has since performed at several well-known festivals.

In 2012 it recorded its first album Vendredi Soir together with Michael Brammann . The second album The Best Things in Life Are Free followed in 2016 .

The quartet also increasingly worked with other artists, such as Martin Weiss , the singer Katja Knaus (on her current CD, as well as during joint appearances), the North West Concert Band and in 2016 in the theater production "Der Jazzdirigent" in the Oldenburger Kulturetage .
