Charles Hans Vogt
Charles Hans Vogt (born June 14, 1906 in Berlin , † March 18, 1978 in Berlin (West) ) was a German actor .
Life
Vogt had received his artistic training from the important stage actor and acting teacher Ferdinand Gregori and from Paul Rose from the Berlin Rose Theater . From the end of the 1920s he found employment at the "Bühnen des Wandervolksbund" and again at the Rose Theater; until 1945, however, it was only very rarely an integral part of a more important ensemble. His first demonstrable post-war engagement led him to the Berlin Theater Neukölln . He had other commitments at the Free Volksbühne in Berlin .
Active in film since the early post-war years, Vogt was a batch actor for DEFA in the 1950s . He appeared several times in supporting roles in fairy tale films . Vogt played the wood merchant in the fairy tale adaptation The Cold Heart , the magician in Wolfgang Staudte's color film The Story of Little Muck and the King in Francesco Stefani’s fairy tale film The Singing, Sounding Tree .
