Charles Henry Dufour (born April 25, 1940 in Kingston ) is a Jamaican clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic Archbishop of Kingston in Jamaica .

Life

Charles Henry Dufour was ordained a priest on August 12, 1970 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Montego Bay on December 6, 1995 . The Archbishop of Kingston, Jamaica, Edgerton Roland Clarke , ordained him episcopal on February 10 the next year ; Co-consecrators were Samuel Emmanuel Carter S.J. , Senior Archbishop of Kingston, Jamaica; and Paul Michael Boyle CP , Vicar Apostolic of Mandeville .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on April 15, 2011 Archbishop of Kingston, Jamaica.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on April 29, 2016. On the same date he was appointed Apostolic Administrator of the vacant Diocese of Mandeville.
