Charles Melton (born January 4, 1991 in Juneau , Alaska ) is an American actor and model .
Life
Melton grew up with his sister Tammie in Manhattan , Kansas. His father, Philip Melton, is British and his mother, Sukyong Melton, is of Korean descent. Charles attended Kansas State University , where he played football. In college he was discovered by the Applause Rising Talent Showcase . In 2012 he was at the New York Fashion Week for the first time and ran there for the labels Parke & Ronen and VLOV. He later also modeled for Dolce & Gabbana, among others . Melton was dating Camila Mendes , who plays with him in Riverdale , since the end of December 2018 . The separation followed at the beginning of December 2019.
Acting career
He first acted in 2011 in the series Glee . In 2015, he impersonated Mr. Wu in American Horror Story for the first time .
