Charli Baltimore

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Charli Baltimore (real name Tiffany Lane ; born August 19, 1974 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American rapper and model.

biography

Charli Baltimore studied at Pierce College until she came across Notorious BIG in 1995 . This brought her into the music business. 1997 their first single was released names Money from the soundtrack of Woo . The song was produced by DJ Clark Kent, who was at the zenith of its popularity in the mid to late 1990s (including producers for Rakim, All City, Oran "Juice" Jones , Jay-Z, Lil Kim, Notorious BIG). But the rap career also attracted criticism. Charli Baltimore had an affair with Biggie that resulted in one of their 2 children. Biggie also introduced her to the music business and introduced her to various personalities such as Lance "UN" Rivera (ex-CEO at Untertainment). Voices, also from Notorious BIG's mother, were loud warning Charli Baltimore not to abuse the fame of her musical mentor for her career. This reproach clung to her for a long time, despite her high quality output. In 1999 Charli released her debut album Cold as Ice on the Untertainment Recording label . In 2002 she signed a contract with Irv Gottis Murder Inc. Records , which slowed down her career rather than promoted it, as she never released an album through Murder Inc. From 2005 to about 2008 she was temporarily under contract with The Black Wall Street Records , but without releasing anything.
