Charlie Will Bell (born March 12, 1979 in Flint , Michigan ) is an American basketball player who currently plays in Serie A at JuveCaserta Basket . The 1.91 m tall American plays in the position of the shooting guard .

Career

Charlie Bell graduated from Michigan State University and played for the college's Spartans in the NCAA for four years . Every year he was named the team's best defensive player and made it into the NCAA Final Four three times with the renowned team, for which basketball legend Magic Johnson was already active .

Undrafted he signed on July 23, 2001 a contract with the Phoenix Suns and played five games there. When the Phoenix Suns released him, he was briefly active for four games in the ABA for the Phoenix Eclipse before signing a 10-day contract with the Dallas Mavericks. There he only played two games. Then he tried his luck in Europe in the Spanish and Italian basketball league. In 2005 he finally came back to the NBA. He signed with the Milwaukee Bucks and managed there on March 28, 2006 his first triple-double (19 points, 13 assist, 10 rebounds). On June 22, 2010, the Milwaukee Bucks traded him with Dan Gadzuric for Corey Maggette .
