Charlie Huber (* 13. May 1988 in Pfaffenhofen , Germany as Georg Huber ) is a former German - New Zealand ice hockey player who since 2015 again at Botany Swarm in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League play.

Career

Charlie Huber, the Bavarian Pfaffenhofen was born, came at a young age to New Zealand and began his career as a hockey player there at the South Auckland Swarm (since 2007: Botany Swarm), for which he in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League on the ice. In 2007, when he was named Most Valuable Player in the final against the Canterbury Red Devils , in 2008, 2010 and 2011 he won the New Zealand National Championship with the Auckland team . In 2012 he moved to the Australian Ice Hockey League for the Adelaide Adrenaline and was named the best new professional in the league in his first season . After three years in the capital of South Australia , he returned to Auckland in 2015 and ended his career at Botany Swarm.

International

With the national team of New Zealand , Huber took part in the World Championships of Division II in 2010 , 2011 , 2013 and 2014 when he was the best assist provider of the tournament.
