For his first division team CNFE Clairefontaine , she played 16 point games in 2006/07, when she was 16. From 2007, there were two years at ASJ Soyaux , then one for FCF Nord Allier Yzeure and four at one of the top clubs in the league, HSC Montpellier . When the club did not renew their contract in 2014, Bilbault returned to Soyaux and twelve months later joined Juvisy FCF , whose women's team was absorbed by Paris FC for two years . National player

Charlotte Bilbault has played through the national youth teams and played a dozen games in the U-17s by 2007, 22 matches for the U-19s from 2007 to 2010 and eleven games with the French U-20s from 2008 to 2011. She also took part in several continental tournaments, such as the U-19 European Championships in 2007 and 2009 and the U-20 World Championships in 2008 and 2010, respectively . In 2008 the French took fourth place, and in 2007 and 2009 they did not get beyond the European Championship semi-finals.

It took almost four years before Charlotte Bilbault occasion of Istria Cup in France B team was appointed, for which she graduated in March and April 2015 five games (all on full 90 minutes), while against Bosnia-Herzegovina and their scored only goal in the blue dress so far (by penalty). Her appearances there convinced national coach Philippe Bergeroo so far that, to the surprise of the women's football media, he nominated her as one of seven reservists for the French squad for the Women's World Cup in Canada . In the run-up to this tournament, Bergeroo had helped Bilbault to her first appearance in the A-Elf by replacing her in the friendly against Russia at the end of May 2015 . In the further course of the season after this World Cup, the coach used them in another five games.

Bergeroo's successor Olivier Echouafni has also repeatedly called the player into his roster. At the beginning of March 2017, however, he did not take her to the SheBelieves Cup in the USA; instead, she went to Croatia with the B selection for the Istria Cup , where she was the captain and played all four French games. Only under coach Corinne Diacre did Charlotte Bilbault return to international appearances in spring 2018 - and thus after more than two years of absence - and was also appointed to the French 23-man squad for the 2019 World Cup in her own country .

She has now played 25 international matches in which she also scored a goal. (As of March 10, 2020)
