Charlotte Stewart
Charlotte Stewart (born February 27, 1941 in Yuba City , California ) is an American actress .
Life
While in high school , she hosted the radio show Teen Time . In the early 1960s, she studied acting at the College of Theater Arts in Pasadena , California , where Dabbs Greer , her partner in the family series Our Little Farm , taught in the 1940s.
Stewart played one of her first roles in 1968 as Lori in an Elvis Presley film called Speedway . The actress became known through the role of the teacher Miss Beadle in the television series Our Little Farm , which she played from 1974 to 1978. It was her first role in an ongoing television series. During a season break, she appeared in the 1977 horror film Eraserhead , where she took on the role of Mary X, who gives birth to a monster. David Lynch , who had already directed Eraserhead , was the one who gave Stewart the role of Betty Briggs in the cult TV series Twin Peaks in 1990 . That same year, Stewart also took on a role in the horror comedy Tremors - In the Land of Rocket Worms , in which she starred alongside Kevin Bacon.
The actress had guest roles in various television series, such as Hawaii Five-Zero , The People from Shiloh Ranch , Bonanza , Mannix , The Waltons , Smoking Colts , Medical Center and An Angel on Earth .
From 1965 to 1972 Stewart was married to former child actor Tim Considine. On stage she also appeared under the name Charlotte Considine. She has been married to David Banks since 1992.
