Chen Ling (archer)

Chen Ling ( Chinese  陈玲 , Pinyin Chén Líng ; born June 16, 1987 in Zhenjiang , Jiangsu Province ) is a Chinese archer . She was part of the Chinese squad for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and won the silver medal in the team competition .

Career

Chen Ling took part in the 2007 World Cup in Leipzig . With the team, she was able to reach seventh place there, in individual 29th place. In the same year Cheng Ling won the World Cup competition in Varese with the team and was third with the team at the World Cup in Antalya .

She is a member of the Chinese team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . She competes with the team and individually. Chen Ling survived the individual placement round in fifteenth. She met the Greek Evangelia Psarra in the round of 32 and won with 110: 101. In the next round she defeated Belarusian Katsiaryna Muliuk with 106: 105 . Then Chen met the South Korean Yun Ok-hee , to whom she lost with 103: 113. The South Korean later won the bronze medal. With the team, Chen Ling won silver after losing 215-24 in the final against South Korea with her teammates.
