Chief of the Defense Force (Namibia)
The Chief of the Defense Force (for German as head of the armed forces ) is the head of the Namibian Defense Force , the Namibian armed forces . He is responsible for the administration and military control of the army.
The position was created with Namibia's independence in 1990. Air Marshal Martin Phinehas took office on April 1, 2020 .
