Lionel Pickens, Jr. (born December 4, 1983 in New York - † May 17, 2015 ), better known by his stage name Chinx (formerly Chinx Drugz ), was an American rapper.

Life

Pickens was born in the Far Rockaway neighborhood . He started rapping at the age of 15 and went by the stage name Chinx Drugz. He was later a member of the Rockaway Riot Squad and was signed to his label Cocaine Coke Boy City Records by his friend French Montana in 2009 .

On May 17, 2015, at the age of 31, he was shot dead in his vehicle at a traffic light in the New York borough of Queens . Two suspects were caught after more than two years.

His posthumously released debut album reached number 2 on the R&B charts and number 21 on the official album charts in the USA in September .
